The Pelicans visited the San Quentin Giants for a 9 inning modern game. Our short handed squad borrowed two Giants to round out starting nine. Highlights of the day included rookie Slinger finding his groove on the mound, Chowder swinging for the fences, Gritty fielding a ball that landed into a rubbish bin on the fly in right center and Buffalo’s mastery base coaching. As always, the home squad dazzled with their speed, offense and defense.
